Connect to Calm
Sara Johnson — the founder of Connect to Calm — and I worked together over the first half of 2024 to rebirth her visual identity and bring it to life in a new online space.
Together we created a beautiful and soothing space that represents the energy she wishes to bring through to her website. This project was very much inspired by nature, by universal mystery and the magic that Sara has to offer the world.

Sara Johnson is the founder of Connect to Calm, a space to support women receive the gift of greater self awareness by living with Reiki in their hearts, minds and hands, and through practices of rest.
It is also a space for those who wish to learn how to bring Reiki into the hearts of others through her trainings.
Sara wanted those who land in her space to feel soothed, supported and receive a sense of being cared for. It was also important that there was a welcoming sense of ease and gentleness.

We co-created this project in two phases.
The first part of the journey was to go deeply into the heart and soul of the brand and bring out a visual identity that represented the Brand now. Sara already had an existing brand identity and website, so this was a rebirthing process and she wanted the visuals to align with what the way her offerings have expanded.
We then moved into the website build a few months later, giving space for the brand to fully integrate. I supported Sara in pulling all of her words and copy together, then we created an easeful flow through the website for her community to explore.
The result is a website that showcases her offers, provides clear ways of connecting with Sara, and keeps the soothing, calm and gentle energy that represents the soul of this brand.

“This year I decided to embark on a journey to step out and reflect the growth and expansion of my work.
